2010 swap to 09 motor

As far as I know it would be. I think the only difference between the two is the cylinder skirts on the 2010 are thicker, so I would assume that the top end and bottom end are not interchangeable between 08-09 and 2010's (I may be wrong in that assumption) but that doesn't apply to what your doing. I also know that for some reason unknown to me some manufactures of exhaust cans like slp have a different part number for 2010's then 08-09. Why I don't know. And of course you'll want to make sure u match the right color injectors to the right color ecu.

Traded my crf 450 for the 09 assault. Its has the fix kit in it but the ol dragon 163 has 3000 miles with no rebuild but all the added accessories.
Just dont wanna run into any unexpected problems. Im sure someone here has done it.
