The cover was designed for towing. Keep your Bike clean on the way to your destination! Trailer or Truck
Also...The cover is reinforced over handlebars and foot pegs .

I assume there are openings for tie down straps to attach to bike?

Yes, handlebar tie down. 2 ports. One on each side in front of the handle bars integrated into the seams. It could also be strapped down off of the rear tunnel area (down and out the bottom opening of the cover) Also the rear bumper is exposed.
The cover is very strong compared to the standard issue snowmobile covers . Plus we have web in the hem all around for even extra strength. The buckle straps are tied into the web. Very strong. This is a inexpensive cover that is built to last.

Shown here in motorcycle form. Secured from handle bars.

So I called Yakama Tent to buy one of there covers.
I just found out that they are making them for Timbersled.

Yakama was selling for $150 and TS $300. Now I know they are marking up stuff 100% :face-icon-small-fro
