So the new 2018 primary doesn't work with the 2016/17 secondary eh?

It depends on the alignment. We have .030, .060, and .090 shims that come in our kit.

We will have some in a couple weeks. Right now we are shipping them with the primaries we are selling because the new alignment bar is in very short supply. Once we get ahead and have some extras we will get them up on the website for sale.

how about the 16 primary with the 18 secondary. my 16 secondary is nothing but problems. have SLP stage 2 kit installed so need proper set up for that.

I haven't had my hands on one yet but I believe the 18 secondary is basically the same as a 16 without deflection adjustment. The advantage is in the primary and/or going to a tied secondary on the older ones.

Anyone done this yet? Can the Zuk handle the lower engagement?
Thinking of doing this to my 17 this off season.

Yeah the zuke can handle it. I put on the 18 primary. I can tractor out of pretty much anything with my 16 LTD 163x3. Or the fun way of pin wiggle and let it roll.

I can't think of what I engage at off the top of my head. I threw in MDS weights even before mounting the primary the first time.
