New 2009 Everest 800-163 questions

Just purchased a new 2009 Summit 800-163. I have had Polaris sleds since 1968 and have come to terms that they have a lot of quality issues the last few years. My questions are I ride in Cooke City and live in Minnesota. the dealer I purchased it from to have the clutch settings at 6 in Cooke City and 1 around Minnesota. Also, how are the stock skis on the 2009 Summit Everests, I have a pair of SLPs I can put on if needed. I am in my 50s so I like the trees mostly and love to climb, but won't sit at one hill all day.
