Hi !

What will I have to do to mount a Arctic Cat Telescopic steering post Kit ( # 5639-516 ) on a 2008 M-sled ?

1: Buy a lightly used one for much cheaper, and within Sweden

2: Pull your pipe off

3: Pull off the aluminum plate at the top of your steering post a-frame

4: Loosen the bolts at the bottom of that a-frame, as well as removing one on one side so you can rotate it forward.

5: Look underneath your sled for the bolt that mounts to the bottom of the steering post

6: Profit



If you really want to ship something from the US, I'll sell you a used one for 90 bucks.

The problem is that according to the "Kit instruction" it is intended for 2009-2011 models and wives sled is an 2008
What differs and what do I have to alter ?

Nothing is different, 09 is just the first year m series models came with a telescoping post.

M7 post is not the same at all.
So no will not work.
You would have to change fuel tanks and drill new holes in tunnel/bulkhead for the steering post to mount...
