Hi, running pro BD, 10 psi sea level.

Anyone had any problems with the beltdrive?
What kind of miles can I expect?

Heat shield? Vents?

Thanks!

Yeah, but 10psi at sea level is silly amounts of power.

I'd go to TKI or Chaincase personally...

5psi at sea level, you'll be fine.

Ha! Well with a Pro it is a little bit different. I ran 10 on my 13 Pro with zero issues. But I would not turn someone away from a TKI upgrade!

I still prefer chain

I ran 11psi at 4000-6000 for 1700 miles then changed it just cause there was one very small crack in it during summer inspection.

Thanks!

What Is main purpose with the TKI?

Does the heat affect lifetime of the belt?
How important Is the brake In?

Main purpose of the TKI is the ability to change gear ratio. The TKI is deemed to also be a little stronger of a system and much much easier to replace a belt in the field if a failure were to happen. I know a lot of people are running the stick belt drive with no issues at all... that sai I have a TKI on my sled and love it for the ability to change gearing and also a hair more confidence less chance of failure.

Note: I had a bolt head pop on my stock 15 pro (before factory bolt grade change, no issues since upgraded bolt) so that had a little to do with my decision also.
