madmann1, i am running an 05 rs vector mtn, mpi s/c 12lbs. boost 162x2.25, wahl bros. 9tooth anti-ratchets. my sled came stock w/20-40 gears 68link chain, switched top gear to 19 tooth. this way you only buy 1 gear and adjust chain. 18-38 runs chain in atight loop and may run out of adjustment requiring chain shortening. 20-42 requires 72 link chain. save your money and just drop to a 19 on top. if you have reverse your lower gear choices are limited, although mpi does offer a 42 reverse gear. hope this helps.
