Not sure on the weight yet, I am guessing easy 70 pounds off it. I'll bring to my bud's when done and we'll weigh it on his scales.

Sled is just about done, just have to make a CF hood and tweak things a bit, just brought it in to get the carbs synchd and then it is ready to go.

I've never been too worried approach angles, but that is one steep track up front.
If you don't ride deep powder, it won't matter.

I set the front up for the max possible extension, I will shorten the strap if I don't like how it rides in the powder. I worked with what I had:)

Yeah, and remember that sucking in the limiters will make the skis heavier, thus limiting powder performance.

Oh ya - well I'll just live with it - it is what it is.

Thanks!

Ya they love it. Seems I blew the headgasket, my son blocked the view of the temp light, got bubbles in my overflow line so looks like i'll be making a headgasket swap video.

Nice job!

I guess i took about 8 lbs out of my front suspension, no swaybar. You should look for heavy steel braces and stuff around it too, change everything to aluminium.

yes that is my next move - this summer it goes on a serious diet. i have the hood down to 16 pounds - when i get a chance to use carbon fibre it will be 4 pounds.

Wish we had hills here! had it out in 2.5-4 feet of powder and it did all right, needed to lean the jets out but didnt have the right size so i could only get about 8400rpm max out of it and it was gurgling - boggy. also the rev xp coupled suspension was great on the trail but being coupled was not helping in powder so I'll be ditching it for a timbersled rear this summer. The angle of attach of the track affected the deep powder ability as well so this was a really good learning experience for me and how to set up a sled. I have a ton of video s from our weekend- uploading now.

Ishobie, My hat is off to you, your posts and videos have done a lot to help new as well as some old sledders stay interested. It's nice if someone has several grand to spend on a new sled but the simple truth is some don't have it to spend but still love to tinker and enjoy the sport, I for one applaud you. Keep up the good work. Pat
