Would say running boards, racewerx front full number, and still undecided but leaning towards a ggb mountain can.

So right off the bat the feeling is that the Boards are TOO WIDE ?

My 2014 was pretty great stock, upgraded shocks and pipe/can with an insurance deal basically free. Maybe ill wait for a wreck to do any mods :face-icon-small-win

Agreed.
I find it strange that ski-doos trail sled and mountain sled have the same width on the running boards.


It's $$$. Same bulkhead, vendor, engineering, etc., = lower production cost. The average summit buyer couldn't care less...

and unlike some other sleds,the brake and chaincase are there where you stand too

Doesn't seem like one could make the running boards much narrower on both sides, as the chaincase thingy at your right foot area wouldn't leave much room to stand. Add a little snow buildup on the boards and it will be a bugger to stay on. Even the way it is with the wide boards, I think the chaincase in that area would be very annoying . . .
