I would like to know how temperature of the pipe affects horse power. It seems from my research that a hot pipe will make more horse power then a cold pipe (say stock pipe with sheild vs stock pipe with no sheild).

So, how does pipe temperature affect horse power and torque output?

i dont know?????????????? but my feeling is that a ceramic coated system is for heat retention and the heat sheild is for heat retention and engine bay heat. i run both on mine. its worth the 1 pound or whatever the heat sheild weighs,,, for the hopefully lower engine bay temp. ;) :beer;:beer;:beer;
