Sled running fine all day. Left Brian Head in Utah and started missing power and hiccuping and finally died. Pulled the plugs and they were bone dry. Filter and line were full of fuel. Is there anything on the vacuum powered fuel pump that can go bad or does this sound like an electrical problem.

If dry probably a fuel issue. check the whole system from the pick up in the tank to the pulse line that goes from the bottom of the case to the fuel pump. Sometimes that line gets old and can crack. Fuel lines can crack too. If you put a little fuel in each cylinder and it fires up and then dies, probably fuel related. Also check compression...if a piston fries it won't suck gas in the carb as well. If you pop the plugs and see blue spark when you pull it over, the stator/ignition is probably ok.

Sled running fine back here in Arizona. We concluded it was vapor lock in the tank.
