Aerocharger afr problems help please

Once you start the sled the afr gauge usually says Htr for about 10 seconds then begins reading afr. Tonight started sled and gauge goes crazy. It says Htr but won't show anything else then if you give it any throttle it will start flashing then go back to Htr . Anyone know what's causing this?

Replace the piece in the pipe, not sure about its name again, can be bought at most auto parts store, had that happen to me

A/F sensor

I would start by checking all the plugs associated with the A/F system. If that doesn't fix it like Fred said, start with the A/F sensor. The innovate gauge might be going as well. When my sensors are starting to go they will give erratic readings but I have never had the symptoms your explaining.

htr means the sensor in the pipe is heating up. it needs to be warm to take readings.
they do wear out in a season or two, so replace it

AFR Problems

I would double check all connections and wiring as well as calibrate the gauge but its most likely a bad sensor.

You can call the office (913)829-3400 and order one a sensor or like others have already said, your local auto parts store should have one.
