Warm but a good day!

For those that are wondering... The gates at nobletts are still open an a few of us ventured out sledding in the warm Saturday weather. Roads are still decently covered, only a few open areas looked safe enough to cross country play on. The rocks looked hungry for a arms.

We parked at wolf creek pass out duschesne ridge and made to the mill hollow jct. A half dozen trucks went up mill hollow. Nobletts parking lot was empty at 0930. No sledding from there, doesn't look like.

Fyl.....wellers had pretty good prices on non current klim twogotee bibs ( xl $209) and jackets.

Come on Wednesday storm!

We tested it out today. looks a little scary off the road for sure. IT looks like they did quite a bit of logging this summer, TONS of 2-4 foot tall stumps in the trees. Watch your self up there this winter in the trees. Scary stuff.

Right, pretty unprofessional logging, stumps look like a beaver did the work, tall, angled, no face cut, no step up on back cut, just goofy and ugly( dangerous).

Some logging is a good thing, just wish the operator knew how to cut flush. Were probably loosing those skills in our workforce.

the ole directional "Hinge Cut" right along side of the 40 foot elevated energized high voltage power line, that is always interesting .......... :face-icon-small-hap
