New skid plate seems bulky under A arms. Like the old extreme skid plate for XM

thats exactly what i thought. i rented an xm for my wife to ride a few years ago, and it had the extreme plate on it. it held snow like crazy. it almost looked like it limited the movement of the a-arms (it didnt, it just "appeared" like it)

If you are an A-arm destroyer..
No skid plate!

Yes and no. My buddy destroyed his s and e mod with a full skid plate but his arms were just fine. It just all depends on where it hits. A s mod brace does more than a skid plate imo.

Have to take off the extreme skid plate to replace A-arm's.
After drilling out the old rivets
2 or 3 times the belly pan holes can get very big

None or as small as possible.
They hold snow and add weight. I suppose if you hit a lot of immovable objects then get one...or quit running into things. :face-icon-small-win
