Ordered a set online last week Thursday and had them at my door in Minneapolis today. Well crafted beautiful pieces of aluminum. Sent a pic out to a few of my other buddies with pros and they are looking at them too. Any idea on the install time for a pro newbie on the upper two? I couldn't give them an honest guess as A this is my first pro and B I have a silber kit with all that stuff in the stock way.

It took me about twenty minutes to do mine, but I've had the plastics off my sled many times. I'd say someone who's slightly mechanically inclined could do it in 45 minutes taking their time.

I finally got to installing mine tonight. I would have to say stock on my 13 with 900 miles the slop was less than even the showroom sleds I have felt, including the sleds at the local spring show with 0 miles. It wasn't bad, but I like it tight. Every time I jump on a Cat that slop makes me cringe. I have to say after installing the bushings it removed more slop than I would have ever anticipated. I am VERY impressed, and would recommend this product for the Pro to anyone. The thing is I only ordered is the upper two brackets, and now just playing with it a couple minutes ago the lone lower bracket, i didn't replace, I can actually see the play in it now. Time to order the third.

I also had a chance to put the brackets on my digital scale, that is very accurate and each bracket set weight's 4oz more than stock. Just based on the stock ones being plastic and the OFT's being aluminum if felt like more, but it wasn't the case.

Thanks for producing a great product!

Cheers
Shawn

We have just received our next batch and will resume shipping tomorrow. Thank you for all the orders and I apologize for those that have had to wait a bit but they will be there shortly. We doubled our order on this batch and will do our best to keep them in stock, if there is any delay we try to keep them as short as possible.

As always thanks for all the orders!

We have decided to add the sled that was used for the original prototype steering blocks to our fleet now in a effort to keep developing parts for the Pro chassis. Our steering blocks and tethers are in stock as well as the soon to be released OFT-set axle allowing the use of 8" wheels without a conventional offset and much stronger than stock.

Speaking of spindles...

About time since everyone else quit making theirs. Zbroz said there was no point since the pro factory spindle is so good. But, lots of people still want and need them for projects, older machines, IQR conversions etc. Will you be building a set for IQ/R (standard hardware size not metric) and what are the specs on those pictured rick? weight, steering angle, etc?

I finally got a chance to bring the Pro into the shop tonight. This sled as stated was the sled that had the first prototype steering blocks in it last season. But it only had the upper two on the main post. So I made a short clip tonight showing the benefit of the lower block to tighten up the steering system. This sled has 600 miles on it for reference.

Also another benefit of the Billet blocks with oilite bushings is the thrust surface is now oilite bronze. Our design captures the bushing so that when you pull or push on the post it is thrusting against the bushing. Not the aluminum block or in other cases a plastic block. We cannot remove all play as there is too much difference in the post but we have manufactured them to the exact dimension as stock so your vertical movement will be the same as it was from the factory and remain that way where the plastic bushings wear.

It's been a great season, Thank you! We have had the strongest, most durable solution all season and now we made the decision to add adjustment to remove vertical post movement as well. Since our floating bushing design uses the Oilite bushing as a thrust surface too vs plastic we can now tighten it up tighter than the showroom and stay that way.

We have installation instructions on the website now. With the new adjustable blocks it's as simple as installing the lower block at the top of its adjustment range then install the upper to be just shy of touching or maximum adjustment. Between the two blocks there's .100" of adjustment making for a substantial improvement in vertical post movement.

Thank you,
Rick Coffman
