Unless you do the drop and roll or extended chaincase, a 2" paddle and 8 tooths drivers is the limit for stock drive shaft location. Now if someone has drive shaft location moved I have a deal for you............151x16x2 ported, center nubs removed and every other clip removed. This track must use the combo drivers. I have the 9 tooth Wahl combos on a 1 1/4" axle to go with.

I used 135-144 extensions and slid the skid back, this makes for a better approach angle. A small drop and roll will allow for the 9 tooth drivers (stock) to fit with a 2" track. For the tunnel a 2000 Summit highmark tunnel extension and bumper will bolt right on and look factory.

I am currently in the middle of a 159" build with that Polaris series IV 2.125 track on my 98 670 summit x. I am just waiting on parts. I am using 8 tooth combo drivers from Wahl Bros. I ordered 136" to 159" rail extensions from Avid Products out of MT. Van Amburg sells tunnel extensions for every size from 141 to 174. Still waiting on parts to get here Wahl Bros just got the 8 tooth drivers of back order Friday.

Where did you get the tunnel extension, how much was it and what size did you order. I need to go out to 159. Van Amburg has one but they want $175 USD for it, seems over priced to me.

Thanks

I could see the S, ZX and ZXX being the same......96-03, heck for that matter F chassis too! But in 04 the Rev came out I believe, heck maybe it fits that too?

I have a drive shaft with the 8 tooth drivers on it that i never used. it is from skidoo to upgrade a 98 summit x's 1.75 to a 2" kit. you have to drop and roll or put on 8 tooth drivers for 2" let me now and give me a offer. I have a holeshot yellow skid plate that is used to.

Here it is, I asked the dealer about the 98-04 span and it being 3 different chassis and his reply is it works, thats what the computer says. We've been snowed into town 3 days this week and i just got the part. I'll get some more pics up Tuesday when I have time to put it on.

Current pics of my 159" 670X build. The tunnel extension is WPS that I ordered through my local ski doo dealer. And the rails are 11.5" WPS extensions. The rail extensions went on easily. Tunnel extension didn't fit flush it took some cutting and banging of stock tunnel and the extension. And it doesn't have the same taper as the stock running boards but it'll doo.
