Changing drive shaft seal chain case side?

How big of a mission is changing the drive shaft seal on a 2007 rev? Im guessing the entire chain-case housing needs to be removed? Do you have to pull out drive shaft entirely or loosen off track?

shouldnt have to losen the track. But yes u have to take apart the the chain case. It's super easy to do don't be scared lol. take the chain case off pop the seal out put new seal in put back together. Drive shaft stays in.

You will need to loosen the track to remove the chain case. Super easy to do. Go slow, take some pictures before and during so you know what goes where. Best to get a "exploded view" off of a micro-fiche parts to see what's behind door #2.
