Who's done it? Bolt on replacement?

Update found an old thread from Racin Station. Looks like it needs the primary clutch/new belt, an alignment bar and shim kit. Should be pretty easy!

It will bolt right on but you might have to shim your secondary to get the alignment right

18 clutch on 16. I got to test and tune yesterday. engagement is smooth, and the deflection bolt noise is gone. Pricey but well worth it imho. Early snow, but nice getting out already

Did you leave the exact same clutching in? Same springs weights etc? For your secondary you just took out the deflection bolt and aligned it correct?

Yes really easy. I transferred over spring and weights, I added weight since I was still over revving, took out deflection bolt, aligned, and have to say I'm really pleased. With the 18 clutch and added weight, my engagement dropped from 4800 to 41-4200. Super happy

I’m going to give the 18 primary a try on my 16 as well. See how it goes.

I would assume the new 0627-111 belt would be needed as it is over 1" longer in length and .06 wider than a 084.

2018 belt #0627-111 is 48.582" (+/-.180") long and 1.508" wide.

2017 older #0627-084 is 47.520" (+/-.180") long and 1.448" wide

Can anyone else confirm the need for this new belt on the Zuke? Is the center to center distance longer on the new ctec2 vs. zuke?? Maybe new belt only required on 18s with ctec2?

Are weights interchangeable between the 2016/17 and the 2018 clutch?

I'd be doing this on my '14 right away if I didn't have to get new weights and spring and start my tuning over again. :face-icon-small-dis

My 16 engages between 3700-3800 with sock clutches. Buttery smooth except for the dreaded secondary chatter.
