Hey everyone, im working on a 04 Polaris verticle ecscape 700 with 151" 1 3/4" trck for a friend I need a little help! He wants it geared down so the top speed is only 80mph I can't find what stock gearing is nor can I find the average top speed at stock. hope you guys and girls can help!

Check how many teeth are on each sprocket in the chain case. A few different options available from factory so best to just check yourself.

The more teeth you add to the bottom sprocket, the greater the likelihood that you will need a longer chain. Just adding one tooth to the bottom sprocket, significantly improves climbing performance. But if the goal is to improve performance, you might want to go with a camoplast challenger 2" high lug with 3 lugs across.
