What are the best skiis for mountain riding that you have found for your Turboed Nytro? I found the stock skiis darted like crazy in the spring conditions late last year.

Powder pros dart too

Powder Pros dart just as bad as the stockers but they side hill nice. 1/4 inch tow out may help a bit on the trail.

Simmons gen II are a bear to turn on hardpack. The gen III is supposed to be better.

I'm liking this new ski offered by yamy,,it looks like a camoplast and i really liked the old ones i had on my Cats,,they are very light,,the tip is 10" and the main body 8",,I would say they are in around medium rated for being an aggressive ski which should help the spring riding too,,hope this link works if not just look in sled accessories on the yamy sight

Roest rode on them last year, said they are garbage. There are a couple of threads on here about them.

Here's the link to TY (Roest talks about them on page 4):

I currently use Gen 2's for everything other than spring riding in which i run the stockers. Am curious to try the new Simmons Gen 3, heard lots of positive about them. Who knows, good luck, let us know what you go with.

I put a set on my sled last spring but didn't get a chance to try them in the deep snow. They were like adding power steering compared to the Gen 2's that I normally run, on the packed snow that I rode on. I don't really use my ski's for turning in powder, more of a flotation thing, so time will tell. They are priced well. I can't really say I noticed any drag on them. They spend lot's of time in the air anyway, lol. They are very light.

I ran gen 3s all last year (the cool protos that shoosh when riding) love them. Give good float and control, very in control on a 100 mph down hill threw the ruts and carve great... will be on my sleds till they come out with gen 4s. julio
