Steve at Northstar just called me from Vegas with the details.
Here they are: If you snowcheck you get:

Color choice with the silver/black rmk or orange Assult or you can also get the standard colors if you want.

PLUS

choice of warranty: either 4 YEAR BUMPER TO BUMBPER FULLY TRANSFERRABLE ($1000 value) or 2 YEAR POWERTRAIN ($500 VALUE) PLUS $700 accessorie allowance

PLUS

12 months 0% interest

PLUS

$1000 loyalty coupon. For taking a chance on a "first year sled" if you decide to trade your sled for a 2012 and say it's worth 8500 on trade, you can trade it and then Polaris will send you a check for $1000 to go toward your trade.

Pretty awesome programs. I think they sure made it worth it to snowchek!
It will net you at least $2000 to snowcheck!

BTW
as we know the difference in the pro and the base RMk is the carbon fiber bumber, light weight jack shaft and brake rotor, and the shocks.
total difference in weight is 9 lbs

Thanks for that... gotta love the 4 year warranty that WILL transfer!!

Plus the Pro Taper handlebars and flat steering post top on the Pro... with the switches on the console.

Std gets the left hand mounted switches and standard bar with T top steering post.
I believe it still gets the CF bumper

Sure would have been nice to see that $1,000 trade coupon for those of us that have a POS that needs to be traded NOW, not for trading an '11 for a '12.

Agree 100% why wouldnt they give $1000 to past buyer's with all the rework they have had on 08-10's. F'in dumb.

All the pictures I've seen show two bogie wheels on the Pro models and six bogie wheels on the RMK.

If that's the case, that is almost half the 9 pounds difference between the two. Would be pretty easy to make the RMK 436 lbs.

very good observation. I was wondering where all the 9 lbs was coming from??? The jackshaft, brake disc is only 2.5 lbs, and surely the shocks aren't really any heavier.

I believe that some of the wieght may also come from a 2 ply track in the std compared to a single ply in the PRO.

The bogies add up to some weight as well as higher quality, lighter, springs on the shocks.

The handlebars and risers also account for some of the weight.

I would like to see something more solid on the "loyalty coupon"

Why can't we find the program published anywere?
