If you have been up in this area and have information if its good or bad be sure and post. The more posts will reflect more accurate information. Good news is it looks like it is starting out great!

Rode from the divide today. about two foot in the trees with no base. Was snowing all day so should not be too long before will be able to get off the roads and actually do some riding!!:becky:

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
UNTIL 5 PM MST FRIDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN
EFFECT.

* SUMMARY AND TIMING...SNOW WILL INCREASE TODAY...CONTINUING TO
INTENSIFY THIS EVENING. THE SNOW WILL THEN CONTINUE THROUGH
MUCH OF THE DAY FRIDAY. THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL LIKELY OCCUR
OVERNIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...10 TO 20 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...SOUTHWEST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS
APPROACHING 50 MPH AT PASS AND PEAK LEVEL. VISIBILITY MAY BE
REDUCED BELOW ONE-QUARTER MILE AT TIMES IN HEAVIER SNOW AND
BLOWING SNOW.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL OVER TETON PASS AND TOGWOTEE PASS WILL BECOME

thats the news i was wanting to hear. thanks for the update. now if we could get the lodge to fix the snow cam, it hasnt updated since monday. i need to see snow on angle mountain. 49 days and we will be there. ski

Yep they should fix that cam, lavamountainlodge.com also has a cam(little further down the pass but still snowing). Leavin for tog in 59 days can't wait.

Brooks Lake Lodge cam works good too.

Eric.... there is more snow on the snotel right now than when we where up there over New Years break a few years ago. I think it was at 27 inches when you gave me the call of ???? Dude you might want to rethink.

Heading Out to Our house in alpine wondering if anyones riding in or around alpine or togwotee whats the snow like? good/bad? i got the itch to get out gonna be in alpine for 2 weeks gonna find it hard to sit there and not find snow? thanks guys

Lava Mtn

How far of a drive is it from lava to alpine? Thinking of driving there to ride for a couple days after were done at togwotee. Any snow reports from those areas?
