50/50 vs 60/40 coolant ratio difference?

I've always used 50/50 coolant/water mix and wonder if 60/40 mix would help keep temps down? I went riding Monday and had a hard time keeping temps down in low snow areas even with my scratchers down and I have the 2005 switchback 900 with the 1 1/4" lugs. thanks

Water transfers heat better than glycol. The amount of antifreeze you keep in your system is to keep the fluid from freezing and cracking your engine. Use a water wetter to help reduce temperatures.

Note that if you increase the ratio of glycol to water past 70%, your proctection from freezing starts to decrease.
