okay, what's everyone running for primary clutch weights on a 700 with a silber turbo kit?
stock everything on my sled except for turbo and silber clutch kit and still getting waxed by everyone.
reving 8650
tried 15lbs of boost and no luck
not enough track speed i think.

i have stock gearing stock track. at 6psi i run straight 46 helix with black/purple secondary spring (180/260), in primary i run 10-68 with epi maroon (185/320)

when I add boost i add weight ex. 10-72 10-74 10-76 with no other changes. i shoot for 82-8300rpm.

I built my own setup, but I used justins airbox/charge tube so my setup is very similar to his.

If your reving 8650, thats way to high of rpm, put some heavier weights in and kit it around 8200-8300 rpm. Probally have to add 2-4 grams of weight.

i can't seem to get above 7700-7800 with my 700, running a 48 helix and a team secondary spring but can't remember what color, i got it from justin, i,m running 10-70 weights with a orange team spring. even if i turn up the boost to 12 psi it still dont seem to change rpm. i did gear up 1 tooth on top though. sled seems to pull good but my rpms just don't get higher. its weird yours would be so much higher in rpm.

In my opinion, you are trying to throw way to much weight... there could be other problems... but throw a really light weight in it, and see what it does...

I ran 10-68 weights with an Almond/Red spring, and 48 helix with Black/Purple spring in mine. Ran 8200 to 8250 rpm consistantly at 9 lbs boost.

Hope this helps.

weights, springs, helix

Polaris weights (10-68)
Primary Almond/Red (165/310 i think)

Straight 48 or 50 TEAM helix
Black/Purple spring (160/240 i think)

Someone correct me if i have these weight ratios wrong to correspond to the colors of the springs.

If it revs to high, use the straight 50 helix. Otherwise use the straight 48. You really dont see much performance improvement going over 8100 rpm in my opinion, though it seems everyone talks of the magical number being 8250rpm.

Dont know brand of springs, but the weight ratio might help to cross reference to a brand of your choice.

Hope this helps you some . . .
