Has anyone ever put the 7 tooth drivers on the early m8 with the 63/57 gearing in order to get the gearing closer to the 55/65 gearing of the 10-11 m8?
From what I have found the 7 tooth driver reduces the gearing about 12%
Also the gearing of 55/65 seems to be about 23% lower than the 63/57.
So it seems that the 7 tooth drivers would make up a little over half of the difference in the gearing between the early 07 m8 and the 10-11 m8.
Let me know if anyone has done this or similar and if it seems correct or not.
