hey, we've just finished installing a beacon basin.

it is just next to the cabin up at Quartz Creek in Golden BC.

we hope people use it and practice their beacon skills.

We did our AST1 in Quartz last weekend...we used the park for several beacon searches including some multiple burial situations..it was a good quick way to do some beacon training. BIG THANKS to all involved in setting up this park. It was extremely helpful in making me realize my beacon was OK but man there is some great new technology out there. Upgraded at the end of the coarse...my buddies are worth it! Thanks to Chuck at Avalanch solutions.

Good news. Hope it gets lots of use and many snowmobilers get familiar with their beacons at the new park. Kudos to all envolved in the installation of the new beacon training park. Wear it out peeps....
