I put in a new steering post today and now it turns real tight. I am wondering if I put the rubber bushings/washers are in backwards or wrong. There was a groove in the washers and when I put the 2 plastic pieces around the base that the bolts go through I am wondering if they did not sit right on or in the rubber washers. Is part of the plastic pieces that go around the post supposed to sit in the rubber washer or sit below the washers? I am not sure if I explained it so it was understandable.
