Absolutely love mine. Haven't had any issues with it it's been pull and go and a whole lot of fun. Great power and throttle response. It makes the axys a bad a$$ boondocking sled

Absolutely love it, pull and go. Excellent throttle response, I did change my primary spring due to over reving. Anyone would love this kid, especially for the price.

Pump gas turbo

Awesome just a few more questions
Are you running pump gas ?
What's your boost and it's non adjustable correct ?
Throttle response is it just like stock no leg ?
Over heating or any detonation codes ?
Thanks guys I am in Canada and I think the price is 4000 $

Yes pump gas. I've been putting two gallons of race just to be safe I'll probably just start running 1 gallon even though it's probably unnecessary maybe someone can chime in on that part. I believe boost is set at 6.5 lbs it's non adjustable which has been awesome. Throttle response is awesome I haven't noticed any lag I'm sure there's some compared to stock but nothing that I've noticed. No over heating issues or det codes. I highly recommend getting the kit it's simply install the kit plug her in and ride!

91 non ethanol at all elevations. There is no turbo lag at all. Three of us bought the side kick and they all work perfect .

Side kick is the name of the base $3,995 kit... The kit has an electronic boost control that adjust up or down with elevation keeping HP the same everywhere, just a guess but I'm betting it's between something like 6-8psi, 8psi being at 12,000 feet.

To be realistic I would say 190-200hp. Just remember at 10,000ft your stock sled is gonna be like 120-130hp

IF! stock HP at sea level is 165

You will loose 4.95hp per 1000 ft of gained elevation.

4.95x10,000'=49.5 hp lost to elevation.

For a estimated total horse power of 115.5

My Intercooled boondocker race gas kit on my 2013 pro will self adjust boost from 11psi In my garage at 4400ft elev to 14.? Above 10,000ft elev. the horse power stays consistent but horse power is not gained, unless you were to adjust the base boost setting or increase the boost level above what it has self adjusted to. I would guess that the boost levels on the side kick would self adjust closer to 10+psi (if the starting level was 6psi) at 12,000ft. This is what I've observed on their other EBC controlled sleds that I've been around.

IF the side kick comes set at 6psi I would estimate that should get a axys between 200-210hp and you will maintain that same hp at all elevations with the EBC.

It is around a 190hp kit, it runs off the stock injectors which is you wall.

I believe the stock Axys injectors are around 850cc.

A useful tool to roughly guess horsepower in a turbo:

http://www.mide.com/products/slamstick/air-pressure-altitude-calculator.php

Sea level: ~160 hp, 14.7psia, 30F

6000': "6psi boost" Non intercooled youre gonna be running ~100F = 12psia atmosphere. 12 + 6 = 18psia. 18/14.7*160=195 hp - realistically 185-190 best case.

So that is a really rough way to figure it out. Input your boost pressure, intake temps, and altitude and then linearly scale that from the sea level NA power. And then subtract a few hp because that's how the real world works.

Anyone put a boost gauge on their sidekick yet and monitor boost levels?

I put boost gauge on my side kick, I'm at 900' at home and it runs 4 4.5 pounds of boost. Haven't held WOT yet for more than a second or two either but still thinking that will be max boost at 900'. Also put my afr gauge on it that I kept from my old sled to monitor once and a while and at idle to around 6000 rpm i,m seeing a steady 14.6, and 6000 rpm up it gets richer and richer, the richest I've seen so far was low to mid 11's. Not going to be at elevation with it till mid January at Togwotee, and the alpine area but will report back the changes in boost and afr numbers. Doubt the afr will change much. Also add it's a clean pull and go setup that runs very well so far.

I don't run any gauges. It runs best on 92 non-eth. I run with three other race gas pros (they're mixing 50/50 and have inter-coolers). 2 boondocker and one HM. The side kick kit runs much better. Not like I'm out climbing but... mine is snappier, more responsive, and consistent. No bogs or lags. It just runs. I had one off day where I got a bad tank of fuel and had to run in eth mode, but it still ran better than the other turbos. Most turbos bog, hiccup or lag. Mine doesn't. And none of them are out pulling me on a climb. A lot of that may be the new chassis, motor, and 3" track. All the others are running the stock pro 163 track(2.4?). I'm stock axys 3" track. Pretty happy so far...
