Talking about lubing a ball bearing turbo in a dragon.
No battery, large horizontal Boondocker air to air with the fan that draws about 4-5 amps.
koso heated afr, headlight delete.

I have seen posts about pumps like these. two posts Said they work.
One guy on a ski doo said it wouldn't pump worth crap
Was this a long term reliable solution?
with a manageable power draw?

I bought the posi-flow one for my dragon from Napa. Seems to work fine.

I didn't pressure gauge it. But blocking the flow with my thumb I could make the pump labor. But the amps only climbed to 1.85.
Weather the line was flowing through the turbo or back into a container. Didn't change the draw at all.

I talked to both boost-it and TSS at the Vernon Snowmobile show, and they both run Posi-flow on their kits.

So how are they garbage, what was the problem with them? Is it the heat from the oil that make them fail?

You could always use a small mikuni fuel pump $15. If you could get a pulse line off the bottom end you could flow oil for free, no power draw. This http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/331702062475?ul_noapp=true&chn=ps&lpid=82 pump will make make 15lbs of oil pressure at 10 lbs of boost. So you will need a 0.035 thou oil restrictor in line. I just put a 27-30 mikuni pilot jet in the oil line as a restrictor. Cheap and reliable option for you.
