ok sled went good with the 162 . was not far behind buddies newer m7 with 162 and he is at least 30 lbs lighter than me plus his sled is lighter i think and from the 151 with alot of missing paddles to the 162 is like night and day so i am very happy with how it works and would definetly do it againas for what i am using ill list a few things
my sled is a 99 xc 700 sp that when i got it was stretched to a 136 then i put a 151 and extensions on it did a home job drop and roll i bent up the tunnel ext my self at a body shop and still seems long enough with the 162

track is a maverick 162 16" wide i cut it back to 15" 3.0 pitch and 2 1/4lug not sure what it came out of
the skid is from a 2006 apex all i did to it was trim a bit off the fron shaft width abou a 1/4"
the primary has a green and pink dot from slp i think and i dont remember the weights i can take one out if you need to know. it is a comet clutch
the secondary is a team tss04 with a 60 40 36 er 60 38 36 er i dont remember what spring is in it or wwhat way it is installed
as for gears the bottom is a 41 and i think the top is a 21 or 19

as you can see from the pics its had some bumps and bruises but still goes pretty good just dont look pretty if you need any more info let me know one pic is of the steering support i made and i can yank on it as hard as i want and it dont budge

Thats awsome guy, looks like you did a great job. I'm so glad that it's working good for you. I really appreciate that you are sharing some info and pictures with me, this will be very helpfull. Awsmoe to hear that your keeping up with newer iron on the snow. That gives me a glimmer of hope for my project. Still lots to do though before I get her on the snow again.

Anyone every try a Series IV 2.4" track in a Gen II. I have a set of 8 tooth drivers and was thinking of trying this... 151" to keep it simple and cheap...I have had many Wedge and Gen II mod sleds over the years and its always fun customizing them to keep up with newer machines. They look good guys! Keep it up!
