When does the rpm protection come in on axys 800 and cut out? I think I got it around 8600rpm and then I get DET warning on mag cyl.?Should it be that way?

I think it's at 8900 rpm. It's not 8600 I know that for sure had my sled running a bit hight a day or two at 8600 rpm.it does rev very fast and the tach can't keep up so you could be hitting the soft rev limiter. Also they get very lean in the 8500-8600 rpm area.
