Have you ever rode the Pro Climb chassis? For about the same money I bet you can find a lower mile PC. Think if you spent a day on each you'd never consider the M.

But hey what do I know. There will always be cheaper sleds, the ones everyone quotes as a great deal, that have been abused and beat to death. Sleds I wouldn't buy for a spare or loaner. The 10-11 Snopro M's are a tough buy if they are in excellent shape. Those sleds have held their value like no other...

I would shoot for that 11 limited, price seems high, if you could get him down for 4000$ that would be a pretty good deal. 10/11 were the best years of the M's

They both look pretty clean in the pics. You will probably want to do a few mods of the bat so keep that in mind. Most guys would get rid of the telescoping post and put snow eliminators on the boards for basic stuff. Less miles are good. Check the rivets where the back tunnel meets the main tunnel and where the back running board attaches to the tunnel. The rivets get loose and raise hell if not repaired quick. Also look where the steering post attaches to the bulk head down behind the motor. They like to crack there.

I picked up a 2011 snopro 2500 miles real clean for under 3k about 2 seasons ago. Over 4k seems a bit much for off season purchasee IMO. Good luck with the choices

Thanks guys. Probably gonna pass on those 2. Found a dealer in the state with an 11 snopro 153 with 2000 miles, they want $5500. Looks super clean from the pics, but from what you guys are saying sounds like $5500 is high even for a dealer

My buddy just text me a 2010 base m8 153 with 1855 miles for $4,499 May call tomorrow. Would any of you turn down a good deal on an m8 to wait for a snopro?

I would actually rather have a base model over a sno pro. No fox floats to deal with and the telescopic handlebar set up is garbage

Snopro

I've had more m's than I can count, currently own eight from 05 to current.
I favor the snopro pkg in the 09-11's when shopping older sleds.
Love the fox floats and the adjustable bars.
Great to be able to tune shocks to rider wieght with air pressure.
Yes, I've broken two adjustable risers, but also can't count the number of standard risers I've destroyed over the years.

Well, picked this up today. Rear suspension is stiff af so I'll have to figure out how to adjust it for me but seems pretty straight and clean

Nice looking sled you will love it. Check what the rear float pressure is at, im 170 and had mine set @125 psi. Sometimes if they have been exercised in awhile they will feel stiff try standing on the back and bouncing it a couple times.

Don't know if you have an inspection list created yet but a diamond drive disassembly and a top to bottom clutch inspection should be on your list

Fluid looks clean in dd, but should take a peak inside. Clutches I'm not sure what all to check/clean
