Alright working on an 06 RMK 900 151", what are the limiter straps, where are they, what do they do, why do they need to be adjusted? What are the pro's and con's of re-adjusting them?
Thanks,
Nolan

It controls the ski pressure. And controls how much the front end lifts/ or doesn't lift, when you accelerate. It will also set how much of the track is touching the ground.
You adjust the limiter straps AFTER you make all other suspension adjustments. Most of the time the suspension can be adjusted to where you like without the limiter straps.
Usually the straps are a little loose when the sled is parked.
Are you trying to adjust the suspension? What is it doing/ or what do you want it to do?

They adjust weight transfer Bottem holes are for pow and Top holes are for Trails Trust me you'll love them in the bottem holes if you like to pull wheelies for fun!

The bottom holes on the TQ arm allow for better lift and floatation for powder. This is happening by allowing better weight transfer.

More then likely you do not have to make an adjustment if you are moving them down. However is very important to check track tension anytime you make adjustments and adjusting track tension is simple.

alright, did all that, checked the track tension and the left side was perfect and the right side was a little loose. The track doesnt seem to walk at all right now. if i tighten the right side will that change and cause the sled to start walking to one side?
Thanks,
Nolan
