Should I trust a 2009 polaris rmk 800 heard they have some problems engines poping

I am looking at buying a 2009 polais 800 rmk and they are saying that they had trubles with them blowing up and no one can tell me what the problem is. I heard the the water cooler would dump to cold water after sitting a little bit engine would be hot and the water in the intercooler would be to cold. looking for advice
