Swapping to a 163" and will need some direction on the drivers, gearing, and other... The best I can tell is that the 2.86 drivers pressed onto an '08 or '09 axle is a waste of money for me. A little help out there. Thanks.

clutching and gearing should remain close. Maybe drop one tooth on top gear and give it a try. Try to only do 1 thing at a time to know what works and what does not.

What size lugs? The 8 tooth 2.86 pitch is almost identical to the 9 tooth 2.52 pitch so no worries unless you went way big on lugs. BRP's '06-'07 race sled drivers fit the hex shafts and are 2.86 pitch (and a lot cheaper than Avids and wear well too). If you get an 8 or 9" big wheel kit you can just reverse the offset axle and get out to 163 from 159 (that's what I did from 151 to 154).

Have FUN!

not to be rude, but this isn't a text forum. a little bit more time explaining your solution would be better for everyone. sounds like you have a solution,,, i think
