Oil tank leaking anyone???

Hey guys, i know there is a pretty big problem with the skidoo sleds and oil leaking out of the reservoir from the cap. I make an insert that goes in the neck and keeps it round. Stops the leak!! Works very well, machined out of 6061T6 aluminum with a yellow irridite coating. Anyone interested let me know or go to this ebay link to purchase!!!

a oil cap from a zx chassis will fix the problem to.

No thats a different guy. His you have to buy a new cap for the XP i believe. Mine will work with the original cap.

His (Dootalk) is just an insert also. I purchased both the REV and XP ones last year, worked perfect. It as amazing how "out of round" the oil tanks were.

I can't imagine why they leaked

Yes it is. You would think skidoo would fix this problem. But hey then they would never get warranty work in lol.
