2012 Yamaha Nytro MTX 153 North Dakota Build

Well im starting this topic to go over some of the mods ive made to my sled. I purchased my nytro new this past fall. It is a 2012 Nytro MTX 153. A list of current mods is below

-OFT rollover valve and tether
-OFT relocater
-mod rod vents
-153x2.25 camoplast challenger track (upgrading to camo extreme 2.5)
-roest ip vent and gauge relocater
-roest skid plate
-better boards with skinz tunnel braces
-MCX 180 turbo kit with homemade snorkel
-yamaha rear gas rack with mountain addictions bag and 2.5 gal can
-snowjack

Mods that I am waiting on parts for:

-camo extreme 153 track
-skinz a arms, have the ulmer oilite bushings already

future mods to be done:

-kmod skid
-skinz front and rear bumpers
-OFT oil tank
-yamaheaters
-new skis
-skinz seat

Allen Ulmer installed the MCX 180 kit. Of course as soon as I got it home i had to dig in and see how it looked Thumbs Up
Here is a shot of the turbo and one of how he installed the gauges with the roest IP vent kit. The gauges are easy to read standing up, and I love the roest relocator, so i think this will be a good setup all the way around.

finally got my skinz kit in. i also got my new 2.5 CE track too! Here are a few install pics. i first installed my ulmer oilite bushings. to remove the stock ones i just used a punch and hammered them out. to install them i just got a bolt with some washers and pulled them through. i also purchased a powder coating gun! i am using an old oven in my basement that i have never used for curing. i did my spindles today in satin black and they turned out pretty dang good. i am going to do my front and rear bumpers as well as a few other parts. I did miss a few corners in the spindles, i think i am just going to touch up with some spray paint. i was pretty happy for my first go at it. i was suprised how cheap it was to get into it as well. the gun was $100, $10 for some powder and thats about it. prep work was the hardest. i bought some powder stripper and it didnt work very good so i did a fair amount of sanding (dont have a sand blaster).

powder coated a few more parts, foot pegs, riser block, front bumper. got new CE track in, skinz shock covers installed. also there is my powder coat gun.

well that is all i will get done on the sled for this year. the track is aligned and tension set, it is all put together and washed. did some slight polishing on the tunnel, i dont get carried away with it though. gen III skis will be fun to try out. next year i think my first mods will be oft 3 wheel kit and idlers, maybe the skinz seat, not sure on that yet. skinz rear bumper for sure. it will be fun to try the turbo out and all the other mods that is for sure.

also threw a shot of my trailer i just finished up. its a 6x12 aluminum. should work great for keeping this baby protected.
