Just a heads up.
For the next several hours SnoWest will likely experience a MAJOR PERFORMANCE REDUCTION as we are working on our servers,

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

The forum seems to be getting slower and slower. :noidea:

Sure hope some one is working on this because it is becoming almost unusable.

Full Stop.
That is HUGE NEWS to me.
We upgraded all of our servers and have been watching daily loads CAREFULLY.

Attached is a graph of the last 14 days of server loads.
Below 60% load, and there is NO perceivable performance degradation.
From 60-80 members will begin to see a general slowing of performance.
Above 80% and then we have real problems that usually trigger a server upgrade to handle additional seasonal loads.

Right now, we are solidly below the 60% mark.

It's fine for me.
Glad to hear it.
In all honestly, this time around we have LOADS of computing power and the ability to DOUBLE IT on demand in about a 7 minute window if we see a massive sudden surge in traffic.

Sometime this month I will pull the trigger and upgrade the servers into full winter season mode for the December - March time frame as that is when we expect to see MAX load.

But for now we have PLENTY of available overhead to handle all of our member's needs.

the only issue i have had lately is that i have to log in twice if i don't go into a thread and log in at that point. it was fine then had the issue you said that i was logging on the wrong page. then the problem went away for awhile not is it back. I am not logging in on the wrong page because i have logged in on on the main forum index page and it worked fine. Just in the last few weeks once again i have had to log in twice from the forum index page. its fine if a click on any thread and log in once i am inside that thread.
