So what is the target rpm for the 850? On the dyno it looks like 8100.

I have the same question, manual says 8250 +/- 250 which is a big range. All the dyno runs I've seen are 8050-8100.

Dynotech did the dyno runs, that were 12 seconds each. Mds clutching has a track dyno and they say 8050-8150, just wondering how this transfers to the real world?

remember most dynos are lower altitude....as your altitude increases, you need a little more rpm to stay in the best range....especially above 7-8k, you'll want an extra 100-150 rpm to stay in the sweet spot...so 8100 becomes 8200-8250 depending on elevation....:face-icon-small-hap

It would be nice if we could dyno one at 10000 ft say at 25 degrees and see where it makes the most.

Olav Aaen had a portable dyno to drag up the mountain about 30 years ago. No point just thought id throw that tidbit out there.

Just curiosity, what kind of efficiency are they seeing? Do we know how much they can pull at the track?

Yep i remember that and now no one does and elevation riding is at an all time high. Aaen is a master of clutching.

Mine was hitting 8250 on short bursts yesterday.
On a logging road.

My goal was 8200 at 9500 feet.
SLP blue/pink with 10-66s. It will hold 8150 at 10k+ and 8200 all day long at 9k feet. Pretty happy with it. Was only hitting 7950 with the stock spring and 10-66 weights. I do think there is still more to be gained from clutching on this sled. Im not an expert by any means, but I am sure first of January we will start seeing new helix/secondy spring combos as well.
