So about 2 years ago cat engineers called me and asked if we would be interested in a 2.5, 3 in PC track as an accessory. I said heck yes thought it would be a home run whats you thoughts would you buy.

Do you really think a 1/4" is going to make that much difference. The 85 duro would make more diff then that bit of extra length and now its finally available in the 162.

The Camoplast Xtreme seems to work the best in the most conditions. I love the Powerclaw, but coming down hills or in spring type snow it seems to struggle. I think the M1100T is gonna need the 2.5 camo to grab and also to stop her coming down the hills.

What they need is 2 fingers facing forward 2 straight up and a tiny bit taller and then the rest of the paddle. A 90 duro 3" 162 PC would be a blast on boost.

A 2.5" PC would kick sooooo much azz in the Utah pow!

IMO. Every .25" of paddle height is like adding 15 hp!

A 3" PC would be awesome on the 1100T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A 153" x 3" PC would be a wet dream come true for me and my TM8!:face-icon-small-ton

I would do a splitting difference @ 2.75 and call it good! As mentioned above with fingers slightly above paddles. This will give you more breathing room in the tunnel and a slightly stiffer paddle from top to bottom rather than 3.00" I bet 2.625 would do the job just fine! Then instead of the steel clips small pressed or molded in buttons to reduce weight. I would fully clip the track instead of every other. Or make them half the thickness and case hardened for wear. Really I think the outer edge of the track should have a convoluted edge and be 15.25" wide. Also paddles should extend full width not 14.5" like now!

9175 for the 162" CE. It works frickin awesome in every snow condition I have encountered. I was a little sceptical at first but I like it better than the old style CE. Great track on a stocker or a boosted sled.

Lugs that go to the edge of the track, every second lightweight clip removed(hell - I can do it myself but while we are wishing....)

never felt the PC was lacking braking

The guys at tracks Canada figure the pc is going to be a problem on the hvy 1100 when it comes to braking and worse once the paddles take a set. He claims cat was considering dumping the pc for the same
Reason.
