How to fill gear oil in sno scoot? Special funnel

How do you guys reach the fill hole in the scoots to get new oil in? Do you guys just fill until it pours out the fill hole?

Ended up using my Koltz chain case oil which had a spout. Then used 1/4 tube to reach. My question is the manual calls for a different oil to use. Is it bad to use chain case oil? Koltz is a lot thicker then what came out.

Try it. I can't imagine it hurting anything if the ambient temps are ok. If it got very cold it might take a little extra oomph to get it warmed up.
