Wyoming proposed dates for sleds

Fellow sledders, we need comments on the proposed season dates. the Shoshone National Forest is undergoing their travel management plan. They have proposed season dates on the off trail over the snow vehicle travel. Those dates would limit our use in the fall and the spring. Please go on the site and comment, for realistic dates supported by historical use, and snotel data. the email address for comments is travel_management_comments@fs.fed.us

These comments have to be in by the 12/10/17!

Your help is need on this, as last year we only had 300 total comments on this issue. Most of those are not good comments.

Done! I hate always hearing about more restrictions on our land. How come we never hear about less restrictions, or more closed lands being opened up.

Heres one of the few recent instances in modern history of closed lands being opened up (not for sledding neccsarily but given back to us at least).

Brought tears of friggin joy to see land being opened to the citizens instead of removed. BTW Trump also has the authority to basically cut the legs off the whole 'Forest Travel Planning/Designation' liberal BS that is a bureaucratic waste of millions $ and is closing **** down across the west...hopefully Secretary of the Interior Zinke will continue full steam in this direction.
