Ok got the kit installed and did find a few thing you need to keep an eye on. The oil line pressure reducer has a lot of debris left inside it from the machining process this would have not helped in may ways for the life of the kit. The other thing is the hood has to come completely apart and the angle brackets holding the new plenum to the hood had to be "adjusted" to make the angle line up with the intake from the turbo. The kit can be used without modifing the front lower part of the hood but the lower front plenum is 25.00 so I just cut the top part of it to make the hood come off without having to unbolt it. this is to clear the charge tube from the turbo to the TB's as it passed in front of the bulkhead. have the ecu reflashed and just need to put it on the stand for a good heat cycle.

No turbo 2-strike will ever be as reliable as stock, but they are pretty darn close. Just make sure you use good fuel and stay away from detonation and you’ll be fine.

Several people on this thread have spoke of posting pics of there installs , could we get some please ? Justin hasn't exactly been forthcoming with when he is going to have directions ready . Any pics especially of the oil line connections would be appreciated .

Since this kit would be going on my alpha with a 4 yr warranty, can you swap it back to stock if the sled has warranty issues? I know the BD has a tunnel dump so it’s obvious it has had a kit.

yes the only thing will be having the ecu re flashed. I ended up cutting the front lower part of the air box so I did not have to unscrew it from the hood every time the part is about 25.00 so I just ordered it and have it sitting on the shelf if needed.

The BD kit no longer uses tunnel dump. Just FYI.

Or at least there is an option for both. Haven't checked this year but last year was no TD.

I had a silber kit on my 13 pro with the external wastegate and Ecu reflash. Has the kit changed much from their ‘14 to ‘18 kit? I didn’t like messing with the springs for adjustment and like the BD philosophy of boost adjustment with elevation to maintain HP.

I had a 16 axys with an external wastegate silber and the 30 sec spring change is the thing im going to miss the most, i ride at high and low elevation so going back an fourth between 3 lbs and 7 lbs in literally 30 seconds with no guess work was awesome and i gladly would have paid another 500 bucks for that option alone on this cat kit even if it doesnt give any performance increase. As far as the electronic altitude compensator it sounds good in theory but i cant speak to real world experience how ever i can tell you that the reflash ECU does make all the difference in the world over your older kit

Hey guys,

We were expecting to have a new alpha one by now to make the installation instructions and videos. We are currently using our 18 test sled to get some PDF instructions on the site this week.

If anyone is currently installing a kit and has questions feel free to call or text me anytime.

Thanks

I just added the manual boost controller to it and a psi gauge 120.00 and no need to mess with the gate.

Justin got it out and thank you. Now what could have been included was the starting point on the primary weights along with the torque spec for the primary bolt (55 ftlbs I think). I also found if you trim the inside of the silicon tubes with a razor just to take the square face off them they are easier to put on. Now I just have to move the oil line restriction to the other side:face-icon-small-blu The primary weights I had in my kit are rooster not the cpc/dalton style...
