the c3s that have ridden in our group got taken off and sent back but they werent on cats one was a polaris pro and the other was a skidoo xp.

from what i read TKI is one of the best across the border.
the c3s were blowing belts.
that was a couple years ago now though

I’ve used all three brands, TKI, MVM and C3. They have all worked very well. IMO it’s kinda like what’s better Ford vs Chevy vs dodge. I’ve owned a shop before and margin is everything. Find out what that is on each and who you think your best service will be through. If I was you, I’d have a hard time not supporting my more local C3 guy. I’ve seen belts blow on all 3 when not adjusted and maintained properly.

i had a c-3 on a 14 cat bb for 2 years, one belt, no problems...had a tki on 16 cat stock for 3 years, no problems...slight preference to the tki for ease of install and just feel it seems to run smoother, but no complaints against either...

Belt drive

I have TKI and C3 belt drives.
TKI on my turbo charged M800 with a 174"X3" track. No problems.
C3 on my 310hp EVO super chute M1100T with a 174"X3" track. It's broke 2 belts in 6 years. Both times the track was a little to lose and when the track skipped the belts snapped. That's my fault not the belt drives fault.

I'm planning on putting a C3 belt drive on my Apha One next fall.

I see C3 is sending out all of its drives through a different vendor now according to their website. Anyone notice any effect on customer service or getting parts?

My dad and I have been running TKI drives on our cats. They're local for me and CS is great. Haven't put his Ctec kits on yet but I like that the oil pump is in an aluminum housing that can't ever deform and leak.

We have TKI kits in stock in Calgary and more are on the way. If you want to get one please call me as we are not sure how the new Donald/Justin tariffs are going to affect pricing on the new stuff coming in. Manufacturers in the USA are complaining that aluminum went up as lots comes from Canada to them (thanks Donald). And then they ship to Canada and an import tariff may be added (thanks Justin).

MVM is probably the lightest weight of the 3. Don’t quote me on that though. Give Dave a call at MVM, he’s a Cat guy. Great customer service and passionate about the sport. Workmanship on the machines parts is top notch. Disclaimer: I don’t work for them or etc. just running a MVM drive on my Summit 850 and it’s been flawless.
