GoPro/Magix Movie maker software issues

Is there perhaps a setting in magix that allows you to choose the playback frames per second? Also, I know that the the processing power and available RAM on the computer being used have an impact on playback quality, specifically how smooth the footage is played back. I use a contour gps pov, and in the manual they actually make a note of this, so that people don't think there is a problem with the camera, its the computer used to view it.
