Hi,
my 2012 XF 800 have a damaged primary clutch from sand grinding on the surface. I have heard so much good about the new 2018+ clutches. So i was wondering if the 2018 clutches is bolt on, to my xf?

yakima, wa.
It will bolt up to ur engine.
Best to update the secondary and jackshaft also.
Really good clutch calibration from the factory too!
Not sure how the Zuke responds to ~3,600 rpm engagement though?

FWIW:

I was in a similar dilemma a while back, I went with a P85 clutch from Racin Station. Clutch is a fair bit lighter, and set up with MDS weights it works well. An added bonus is that parts are readily available for the P85, and you still use the stock belt.

Use uncalibrated clutch part # 0746-888 it will help keep the engagement rpm up a little with having the spider shimmed closer to the weights. Low rpm is good but the torque is not the same as the ctec.

whatever the 17s run at for engagement works fine. its pretty low but takes off a lot nicer than the old clutch. BDX y-pipe will add a little grunt also.
