How many relays are needed.. how many different relays ate on the sled...

'17 Assault RMK..

Anybody on here offer an Aftermarket relay "kit" that includes everything needed? Or a link for one?

Everytime I search.. I get mixed results.. what to buy... where to buy... looking for a 1 stop shop to purchase all required relays. ..

CM1-R-12V Panasonic is the part number you want. Just search google for it and there are 3 relays total.

Search on Facebook for northstar performance. He goes by north star rick on hardcoresledder.com.

I have his relay kit that relocated them. They are panasonic relays. Much higher quality.

Tube of silicone... and a few zip ties you are good to go..

Why do you need to spend lot's of money.. We normally already spent over 10K on the sled!!

^ I disagree with this, had my relays go bad from moisture condensing on the inside of the relays and corroding the contacts. Silicone isn't gonna fix that....

I relocate them so the relay is pointing up. Then a very small amount of di electric on the leads. Do that at pre season shake down and never look back..

Non E-Start sleds have 3 total. 2 on the overstructure, one in the bag above the clutch.

E-Start sleds have 5 total. The additional 2 are over by the battery.

Dry the sled out, put silicone on the back of the relays around were the wires go in. ( so water can't get in there). Turn relays so they point up and the wires down. I did this to my 16 before I even rode it, And never had any relay problem.
