Anyone know how high of a handle bar riser that I can go with before needing to change brake lines, cable, and/or electrical extentions on a 1999 Summit X 670?
I have a 96 670. I put a t bar adapter and a 2 inch block on mine for a total of three and a quarter inches. It barely made it with the brake line, had to loosen and turn the brake line at the caliper.
Can run a 2" no problems on my 98 X. Right now I am running a 5" pivot had to extend the throttle cable, electrical had enough slack. I will be putting on a longer break line so I can go 6" this year.
I was just adding a 3" to my '98 this evening. However, it is just too big. 2" would fit fine.
I must add a cable extender. Anybody know the best place to find this?
the s chassis we have been putting on 4 inches, without extending anything, but if you want to extend things, cables on e-bay, or find them at wps, dennis kirk, sledparts.com
