Anyone have the test procedures to e-mail/PM/and or post for testing a stator on an 800 twin. I bought an 800 bottom end ('02 EDGE VES, running motor if I remember correctly? :mmph: ) on e-bay last spring that included a stator. Wondering if anybody could tell me how to go about testing it with an ohmmeter to see if its good.
I did this a few years back on a bunch of 650 ignitions I ended up with and ended up selling by comparing ohms reading between different wire colors of the connector (had I known then I was going to do a watercraft motor, ^%@@#!...) e-mail wrtmani@hotmail.com
