i am sure its been talked about.. but what is the stock gearing for a 08 nytro mtx. looking to gear down since i put 174 track on. i have powderlites stage 2 kit with stock drivers. going across fields it seems like it is lugging what has everyone went to with 174. ps i am 155 pounds if that makes a difference. thanks for any info!!

Stock is 20/40. If it feels like it's lugging, it could also be your a/f ratio needing adjustment. I would gear down a tooth or so myself, as well as check your a/f, rpm and boost

air fuel is at 12.4/12.6 at wide open pulling about 11 pounds at 8800 rpm but blew first belt driving about 60 km/hour because it was lugging still seems to be lugging with new yamaha belt. checked chain tension it was all good. all i can think of is gearing but maybe it is just me i am not sure.

Is your secondary shifting properly? wHAT SETUP YOU USING?

have the shockwave about 1 turn out and yes everything seems fine... have checked it and also watched a couple time to see if it is not opening/ closing properly
